How far should the genetic testing of embryos go?

Preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) means that scientists are now able to test human embryos for a range of inherited genetic diseases.

But what are the ethical and legal implications of preimplantation diagnosis?

Does it pose any new ethical concerns?

Should there be limits to the kinds of diseases tested for?

Should it be restricted to only certain patients?
