Ben Jones
Ben Jones is an Adviser to the Progress Educational Trust (PET), and a Volunteer Writer at its free weekly email news digest, commentary service and website BioNews. His interest in socio-ethical responses to new biotechnologies developed through his studies at the the University of Cambridge, first for an undergraduate degree in Philosophy and the Biological and Biomedical Sciences and then as a postgraduate research student. He received an MPhil for his research into the social construction of the human admixed embryo in the UK, with a particular focus on media coverage of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 2008. He is currently studying for a PhD at the University of Oxford's Centre for Socio-Legal Studies.
