Fiona Miller

Fiona Miller

Fiona Miller is an Adviser to the Progress Educational Trust (PET), and Headteacher of Robert Napier School, where the School Resource Pack created by PET as part of its project 'Spectrum of Opinion: Genes, Autism and Psychological Spectrum Disorders' was piloted. Robert Napier is an 11-18 non-selective secondary school with over 1,300 students in Gillingham, which since Fiona's appointment has entered the top 3% of schools in England for enabling students to make good progress. This is a significant achievement, given that the top 25% of the school's potential students are admitted to local grammar schools through Medway's selective process. Fiona is also a Trustee of Medway Youth Trust, overseeing the work of Connexions, and Chair of the Medway Admissions Forum. Previously she trained as an inspector for the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills, and was seconded to Hertfordshire Local Education Authority to work as a Consultant Deputy Headteacher with schools facing challenging circumstances.
