Ruth Saunders is a Volunteer at the Progress Educational Trust (PET). She is currently studying for an MA in Medical Law and Ethics at Queen Mary University of London, where she previously studied Law. One of her dissertations addresses the legal, ethical and social implications of direct-to-consumer health tests, with particular focus on the commercial provision of genetic tests for common diseases. She hopes to further this research at PhD level.
