Five couples have launched a lawsuit in Houston, Texas against a clinic and Cooper Surgical claiming the clinic knowingly transferred embryos that were damaged by their exposure to an embryo-culture medium later recalled by Cooper Surgical.
Other lawsuits have been launched against Cooper Surgical, which was recalled embryo-culture medium in December 2023 after it transpired certain lots posed a risk to the health of the developing embryo, Axios reported.
