Kyrillos Georgiadis was previously a Volunteer Writer at BioNews, and is currently studying for an Msc in Human Molecular Genetics at Imperial College London's Department of Surgery and Cancer. His research involves combining classical genetic research with metabolomics - the study of small metabolites within biological samples - in the investigation of cardiovascular disease.
