The British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA) has released its Professional Resource: 'Delivering Implications Counselling in UK Clinics' following its formal launch on 8 January at the Fertility 2026 Conference in Edinburgh.
The aim of the resource is to standardise how implications counselling is delivered in UK clinics by outlining best practice as established by a BICA working group of senior specialist fertility counsellors.
The resource has been developed to support clinic teams in delivering consistent, high-quality implications counselling in line with best practice and the HFEA Code of Practice. It includes practical guidance alongside downloadable templates to support implementation within licensed clinics.
You can access the full resource and accompanying materials here.
BICA will also be offering free webinars for a limited period: one webinar for all clinic staff and a second specifically for fertility counsellors.
Further details and booking information are available on the BICA website.
