Researchers have stored the entire human genome on a 5D memory crystal. These crystals can store up to 360 terabytes of data for billions of years, resisting degradation even in extreme temperatures.
The crystal is kept in the Memory of Mankind repository, a time capsule located in an Austrian salt cave near Hallstatt.
