A woman from Edinburgh discovered that her husband had been acting as a private sperm donor without her knowledge.
The discovery was made after she found a sample container and related paperwork in their home. When confronted, her husband disclosed that he had been donating sperm to multiple recipients over a period of several years.
He stated that he had made hundreds of donations and that at least ten children had been born as a result.
