Vincent Stenburg, the world's first baby born after a womb transplant, is now ten years old (see BioNews 775).
'He knows his story', Vincent's mother, Malin, told The Times. 'He is excited to see himself in pictures in newspapers. He Googles his name and that is a bit of excitement for him.'
Malin expressed her pleasure at hearing the news of the UK's first baby to be born following a womb transplant (see BioNews 1285).
Professor Mats Brännström, who lead the team responsible for Vincent's birth, spoke at a PET event marking ten years since the first live birth following a womb transplant (see BioNews 1266).
