The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) has been working on two good practice recommendations papers on recurrent implantation failure and add-ons in reproductive medicine.
Before finalising these papers, they would are asking ESHRE members and other stakeholders to share their opinion and help to finalise these important documents.
Recurrent implantation failure (RIF) represents a challenge in reproductive medicine. With the current paper, the RIF working group attempts to standardise the definition of RIF and provide good practice recommendations on investigations and treatments for couples with suspected RIF, based on published data, as far as data is available. Read the paper here.
Add-ons are optional additions to standard fertility treatment protocols. The paper outlines a set of add-on tests and treatments, describes their rationale and any evidence of their efficacy and safety, and provides a recommendation for clinical practice. Check out the paper here.
