French President Emmanuel Macron has said surrogacy is 'not compatible with the dignity of women' turns 'their bodies into commodities', ITV reported.
The comments came as he reaffirmed his plans to boost the French birth rate with a range of measures including encouraging people to have children younger by providing fertility tests for 18-25 year olds (see BioNews 1224).
