Scotland's new chair of the National Fertility Group, Karen Reid, has announced that the group will review NHS IVF access criteria.
They are looking to establish costs and make recommendations regarding IVF for single people, as well as couples who both have a living child from a previous relationship.
The group are also planning to look into issues around improving access to donor gametes, fertility preservation services and the recently updated NICE fertility guideline (see BioNews 1334).
