Dr Ethan Ding

PET Trustee

Dr Ethan Ding is a Trustee of the Progress Educational Trust (PET), and is also a Tax Partner at KPMG LLP. He is a Chartered Tax Adviser with more than 15 years' experience in tax advisory, governance and stakeholder management, and his career has included in-house secondments at John Lewis plc and ASOS plc. At those organisations he strengthened reporting and controls, acted as a strategic business partner to ensure responsible and well governed implementation of key initiatives, and helped the organisations to manage financial, reputational, and regulatory risks effectively.

Prior to specialising in tax, Ethan obtained a DPhil in Clinical Medical Research at Imperial College London. He then pursued postdoctoral research at the National Institute for Medical Research (now subsumed into the Francis Crick Institute).
