A trans man has been awarded £64,000 by the Arts Council for a project that will see him interview members of the public as he searches for a sperm donor, Pink News reported.
Performance artist Krishna Istha, who is also a writer for Netflix's Sex Education series, has also received funding from the streaming service, which will eventually stream a documentary about the project on its YouTube channel, Metro reported in June 2023.
The performance of First Trimester runs from 1-11 November 2023 at Battersea Arts Centre, and adult-only audience members, participants and potential donors are encouraged to sign up.
