A medical malpractice suit is being brought against Assuta Medical Center in Tel Aviv, Israel, its parent company, and the Israeli government, by a couple who have discovered at least one of their two children conceived via IVF is not genetically related to their father, Times of Israel reported.
Two Assuta hospitals in the country have faced law suits from patients, and suspension by the Israeli health ministry following a high profile embyro mix-up case and a sperm mix up case (see BioNews 1201 and 1160).
