Colin Farrell's son, James, was born with Angelman syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects brain development.
James will be turning 21 in September, and no longer able to access the support available to children with intellectual disabilities.
Farrell was interviewed by People, where he discussed launching the Colin Farrell Foundation, which will provide support for adult children navigating intellectual disabilities in all areas of life.
