In BioNews 455, we published a Commentary on surrogacy law, in which the author stated that: 'Countries such as the Ukraine, Canada and India permit commercial arrangements...'. It has been brought to our attention that this is incorrect, as commercial surrogacy is banned in Canada under the Assisted Human Reproduction Act (2004). We apologise for any misundstanding this error may have caused - a corrected version can be read in full.
