Sandy Starr, deputy director of PET, attended the annual Parliamentary Links Day for science and technology.
The event, which is run by the Royal Society of Biology and held in parliament, included presentations from George Freeman MP (minister for science, research and innovation), Chi Onwurah MP (shadow minister for science, research and innovation), and Professor Dame Angela McLean (chief scientific adviser to the UK Government).
During a panel discussion, Starr made a contribution from the floor, talking about the work of PET and G-SCBEM.
