Sandy Starr, deputy director of PET, spoke at an event in Cambridge organised by Cambridge Reproduction.
The event saw academics from a wide variety of disciplines – encompassing science, medicine and humanities – showcase research and projects that were all connected in some way with human reproduction.
Sandy gave a joint presentation with the coordinator of Cambridge Reproduction, Christina Rozeik, discussing the Governance of Stem Cell-Based Embryo Models (G-SCBEM) project.
This project is led by Cambridge Reproduction, working in partnership with PET. The project is currently developing a recommended governance framework for UK research involving stem-cell-based embryo models.
