PET team members Sandy Starr and Jen Willows were thrilled to attend this year's annual Reproduction Salon, produced by the Reproduction Research Group at King's College London. As in previous years, the event – held on the rooftop terrace of Bush House, overlooking the Thames and the London skyline – offered a fantastic opportunity to catch up with a wide variety of people working in our field.
We were grateful for the opportunity to raise much-needed funds for PET at the Salon, running a bookstall where we sold secondhand books generously donated by researchers in attendance. Thank you so much to everyone who donated books to the sale, and to those who bought them.
We're also grateful to our amazing volunteers – Iona Aylwin, Catherine Lewis and Ella Litwin – whose hard work and enthusiasm behind the bookstall added to the evening's success.
Finally, a huge thank you to Lucy van de Wiel, Sarah Franklin and their colleagues, for organising the Salon and for making PET a part of it. We look forward to seeing everyone there again next year!
