End the IVF Postcode Lottery
The PET campaign 'The Power of Three IVF Cycles' highlights the importance of offering three full cycles of NHS-funded IVF, as recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), and thereby ending the IVF 'postcode lottery'.
If you are a person in England who is affected by failure to offer three full cycles of NHS-funded IVF, then we need you to get involved in our campaign, by writing to your MP and explaining the problem.
To get you started, we have a handy template for you to use, which you can download here. Please remember that you need to include your postal address (even if you are sending this as an email), so that your MP knows you are a constituent.
To find out who your MP is, and their email address, use this tool on the UK Parliament website.
You can find out more about what constitutes a full IVF cycle in our 'Power of Three' leaflet here.
As part of our campaign, we have carried out an investigation into levels of knowledge among GPs and NHS Commissioners in England. You can download our report here.
