'The postcode lottery facing those looking for NHS-funded IVF treatment is completely unacceptable,' said MacDonald, highlighting that the majority of Integrated Care Boards in England and Wales only offer one round of NHS-funded IVF, while some areas have recently announced plans to reduce the number of cycles on offer (see BioNews 1294).
