The parents of two Margate boys diagnosed with severe combined immunodeficiency (also known as SCID) have met with the stem cell donors who saved them.
SCID is a genetic condition in which those affected have no functioning immune system. It is typically lethal within the first two years of life.
The donors, both from Germany, were matched with the boys through the Anthony Nolan Trust.
