Ukrainian fertility clinics – which catered mostly to foreign fertility patients before the war with Russia broke out a year ago – have been offering free sperm freezing to soldiers being deployed to the front line.
Their partners are being given access to large discounts on assisted conception programmes if necessary, the Economist reported.
Coverage follows recent news there has been an increase in Russian men freezing sperm ahead of conscription (see BioNews 1173).
