The Republic of Korea government will support egg and sperm freezing for those expected to experience permanent infertility, due to such factors as cancer treatment. 

The support is available regardless of age, income, or marital status, and will reimburse 50 percent of the expense of egg and sperm freezing, for women up to KR₩2 million (£1085) and for men up to KR₩300,000 (£163), available as a one-off payment.
