South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) currently offers two IVF cycles to eligible patients, but launched a public consultation in July about reducing this to one cycle to save money.
Over 80 percent of the people who responded wanted the ICB to continue providing two cycles. The consultation results were discussed by an oversight committee in October, and a final decision has been postponed from this week until 3 December 2025.
Rayo has more details, and you can check the number of cycles offered by any ICB in England on PET's Fertility Policy Tracker.
