Dr Anna Cauldwell was previously a Volunteer Writer at BioNews and currently a drug analyst in CNS, Autoimmune/Inflammation and Ophthalmology at Citeline. She obtained her PhD from Imperial College London, under the auspices of the Wellcome Trust's PhD Training Programme in the Molecular and Cellular Basis of Infection, where she researched the influenza virus. Previously, she studied Molecular Cell Biology at the University of York and worked as an Industrial Trainee at AstraZeneca.
