Charlotte Dore is a Volunteer Writer at BioNews, having originally joined the publication under the auspices of its writing scheme. She is currently a first-year PhD student at University College London’s (UCL) Institute of Neurology. Her PhD investigates the neuroanatomical basis of neuropsychiatric symptoms in early Parkinson's disease, using novel MRI methods. Charlotte is also a research assistant at UCL's Department of Imaging Neuroscience. Previously, she studied Psychology at Sheffield Hallam University, followed by Master's degree in Clinical Neuroscience at UCL.
