Partnership
We are always looking for corporate, institutional and charitable partners and supporters, to help achieve our vision of improving choices for people affected by infertility and genetic conditions.
Typically, partners and sponsors help with our events – including our Annual Conference and evening events – as well as helping us with specific projects and initiatives.
Our Annual Conference is a very popular with sponsors. To find out how many people attended PET's Annual Conference in 2019, who they were, what they thought of the conference and what impact the conference had, contact us for a copy of our conference report.
Flexibility for our partners is key. Support can be either financial or in-kind (an example of in-kind support would be use of a venue), and can be a one-off occurrence or an ongoing relationship. Whatever the nature of the arrangement, we welcome any ideas that would enhance the relationship for both parties.
In return, our current partners are acknowledged with logos and links to their websites on all relevant parts of our website. Additionally, partners are referred to and marketed in an appropriate way at our events, and in related materials and publications. Some of our current and former partners and supporters – many of whom are also corporate Friend of PET – include the organisations below.
If you or your organisation are interested in collaborating with us on events, projects or initiatives, please contact us.
Sponsorship
Through BioNews, we successfully combine accurate science reporting with opinion and comment on developments in the fields of genomics, assisted reproduction and embryo/stem cell research. BioNews is highly regarded by eminent figures in these fields.
Dr Jane Stewart, former Chair of the British Fertility Society, says:
'BioNews is always current, not afraid to be provocative or controversial but always with an eye to evidence. As a "free" publication it excels. I would advise all those working in our field of reproductive medicine to subscribe'
Professor Anneke Lucassen, former Chair of the British Society for Genetic Medicine, says:
'PET continues to inform debate on genetics, genomics and assisted conception, via its free flagship publication BioNews. Through news, comments and review articles, scientists, clinicians, journalists and anyone interested, can stay abreast of recent developments in this area.'
By entering a sponsorship arrangement with PET individuals, businesses, research councils and grant giving bodies have the opportunity to forge links with an audience of academics, clinicians, ethicists, lawyers, nurses, patients, policymakers, politicians, researchers, scientists, sociologists, students, support groups and an interested broader public.
We have a variety of sponsorship opportunities and packages available, which can be tailored to meet sponsors' objectives and budgets. By entering a sponsorship arrangement with us, you can enjoy a wide range of benefits which can:
- Raise your brand awareness and create preference;
- Provide attractive content for a range of your products and services;
- Build your brand positioning through associative imagery;
- Support a sales promotion campaign;
- Create internal emotional commitment to your brand.
Opportunities include:
- Sponsoring an event or other initiative organised by PET.
- Sponsoring an edition or section of the BioNews newsletter.
We work in close partnership with our sponsors, and we welcome ideas that would enhance the relationship for both parties. Where possible, we endeavour to involve our sponsors directly in our projects and programmes over a number of years, to ensure that the sponsor develops a personal relationship with a project and a sense of stewardship.
If you or your organisation are interested in sponsoring our work, please contact us.
