Researchers at the Dementia Research Institute at University College London and KU Leuven in Belgium believe new findings about a form of unprogrammed cell death gives new insight into how brain cells die in Alzheimer's disease.
Down-regulation of the gene MEG3 protected brain cells from dying in a xenograft model, consisting of human neurons in mouse brains, of Alzheimer’s disease.
