PET in the news: Louise Brown hits the headlines with our research findings

'The world's first IVF baby 'calls out 'postcode lottery' of care' was the headline in the Independent. PET is delighted that Louise Brown supported our call to end the postcode lottery for fertility treatment in England.

The article by Ella Pickover, detailed several issues from our Report and featured responses from NHS England and the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC). Encouragingly the DHSC told Ella that the Government is committed to improving access to fertility services.

'The much-anticipated Women’s Health Strategy should address sex-based health disparities and ensure the system offers equal access to effective care and support for women across the country.'

Let's hope the end to the postcode lottery is in sight at last.
