PET organised a drop-in session for Members of Parliament and Peers to discuss what can be done to improve access to NHS-funded fertility treatment.
Sarah Norcross and Amanda Cooney were delighted with the response from MPs and Peers to PET's Power of Three Campaign.
People from across the House dropped in to discuss how the postcode lottery for IVF impacted their constituents. Among the MPs we spoke to were Flick Drummond, Wera Hobhouse and Alex Davies-Jones.
All those who attended were shocked by the results of PET's research into GPs' attitudes to and understanding of the NICE Fertility Guideline. They were eager to learn what more they can do to help stamp out the inequality in access to IVF on the NHS both at a local and a national level.
A massive thank you to Andrew Percy MP for sponsoring this event in Parliament, and to Hanbury Strategy and Ferring for their support.
