PET director Sarah Norcross had a full-on day in Newcastle at the British Fertility Society (BFS) strategy day. Perhaps seeking to gain inspiration for Newcastle United’s recent success, the discussion took place in a hotel overlooking the St James Park stadium. Sarah is a trustee of the BFS and chair of the Law, Policy and Ethics Special Interest Group and as such was actively involved in brainstorming ideas. With so many ideas generated the hard part was deciding what to prioritise.
The BFS is a multi-disciplinary society and central to all the discussion was now to improve the benefits of membership for all. So, over the next few years, people will see the BFS putting the 'multi' into multidisciplinary.
