The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) has launched a consultation, inviting feedback from patients, professionals and the public on which statistics should be included on the regulator's Choose a Fertility Clinic (CaFC) web pages.
The CaFC pages provide information on all licensed fertility clinics in the UK, including success rate statistics, inspection reports and patient ratings. The consultation is focused on the statistics included on these pages.
The HFEA said: 'We are running this consultation to get views on which statistics are most helpful for the public and best represent fertility treatment today, to support the HFEA in deciding what statistics should be shown on a clinic's main profile page to give a broad overview of that clinic's success rates.'
The consultation can be accessed here, and will close at 5pm on 30 September 2025.
