Marketing Manager
Amanda Cooney is Marketing Manager at the Progress Educational Trust (PET), and works closely with all the dedicated PET team to help ensure the important work being done reaches as many people as possible. She is the first point of contact for advertisers and sponsors, as well as supporting the wide range of events.
Amanda has postgraduate diplomas in marketing and market research and more than 20 years' marketing experience working in healthcare roles for a wide range of companies, including Nutricia, Allergan, Abbott Medical Optics and Johnson & Johnson Vision. She has a degree in Biology from the University of York, and began her working life as teacher before moving into a career in marketing. When not busying herself with PET's many projects, she can be found hiking up hills with her family and dog..
