She is a clinical research technician at Lancaster University where she investigates a new diagnostic technique for osteoarthritis. She obtained her PhD in Medicine at the University of Sheffield, where her research focuses on the potential for physical therapies to treat low bone mass, and in particular the effects of whole body vibration on the ageing skeleton. Previously, she studied Biomedical Science at Sheffield, and undertook a research placement focusing on the development of the nervous system.
