Paula Macho Rueda is a Volunteer Writer at BioNews with a BSc in biochemistry from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She later completed an MA in Applied Ethics, where she discovered her passion for philosophy and the ethics of biotechnology, focusing her dissertation on the ethical implications of embryonic models. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Cell and Gene therapy at University College London, conducting research on gene therapy approaches for severe congenital neutropenia.
