Dr Paula Siverino Bavio is a human rights lawyer. She is a member and rapporteur of the International Bioethics Committee of UNESCO, and a founder of the Observatory of Bioethics and Law, Faculty of Law, Pontifical University of Peru. She is a consultant on human rights, with a focus on bio-legal compliance processes, human rights due diligence and the prevention of reputational and legal risks in healthcare. She created the EdD programme 'Ethics by Design', for the protection and prevention of legal risks in assisted reproduction. Paula is the author of 'Introduction to Legal Bioethics', editor and co-author of 'Yes, I Do. Equal Marriage in Latin America' and more than 200 works published in indexed journals and opinion columns. She is a member of the Steering Committee of the journal BioLaw.
