Rachel Reeves is a Volunteer Writer at BioNews, having originally joined the publication under the auspices of its writing scheme. She is currently studying for a PhD in Epidemiology at University College London in collaboration with Public Health England. Her research, which is funded by the Farr Institute of Health Informatics Research, focuses on understanding the epidemiology of respiratory syncytial virus in young children in order to inform vaccine policy.
