Elliot Colburn is the latest Member of Parliament to support the PET Power of Three campaign which aims to end the postcode lottery for fertility treatment in England.
PET Director Sarah Norcross met Elliot to discuss how the situation could be improved for patients living in his constituency of Carshalton and Wallington. The Integrated Care Board in that area offers only one cycle of IVF which comprises of only two embryo transfers. This falls far short of the NICE Fertility Guideline and makes it one of the worst areas in Greater London.
Elliot is keen to help nationally too and help PET push the issue of inequality of access to fertility treatment up the political agenda within the Conservative party and parliament more broadly.
PET is looking forward to working with Elliot and his team.
