FILM: Dr Roger Highfield in conversation with Baroness Mary Warnock

In this film, Dr Roger Highfield (Director of External Affairs at the Science Museum Group) interviews Baroness Mary Warnock (Patron of the Progress Educational Trust, the charity that publishes BioNews) about how she and her colleagues built the foundations of today's IVF and embryo research regulation.

Roger Highfield will be chairing a public discussion with Louise Brown (the world's first IVF baby) on the occasion of her 40th birthday, at the Science Museum in London on the evening of Wednesday 25 July 2018, and the Progress Educational Trust (PET) will be among the exhibitors at this event. Mary Warnock was recently awarded a Dan David Prize, 'for her leading role in the development of practical bioethics, specifically for her progressive and unparalleled contribution to the ethics of embryology and genetics'.
