This is the sixth in a series of films documenting the recent event 'Frozen Fertility: The Challenges of Storing Eggs, Sperm and Embryos', produced by the Progress Educational Trust (PET) in partnership with the Scottish Government.
The film features a panel discussion, including audience questions and comments, chaired by Professor Allan Pacey (Trustee at PET and Head of Oncology and Metabolism at the University of Sheffield).
If you can't see the film embedded above, you can watch it on YouTube.
The panel speakers are:
- Dr Melanie Davies, chair of Fertility Preservation UK
- Sharon Jones, patient who has frozen her eggs
- Rachel Cutting, director of compliance and information at the HFEA
- James Lawford Davies, partner at Hill Dickinson
If you are interested in this topic, please consider signing and sharing PET's #ExtendTheLimit petition, calling for an extension to the 10-year storage limit for eggs frozen for non-medical reasons.
This film was made by Video Production Edinburgh.
