This is the sixth in a series of films documenting the recent event 'Frozen Fertility: The Challenges of Storing Eggs, Sperm and Embryos', produced by the Progress Educational Trust (PET) in partnership with the Scottish Government.

The film features a panel discussion, including audience questions and comments, chaired by Professor Allan Pacey (Trustee at PET and Head of Oncology and Metabolism at the University of Sheffield).

The panel speakers are:

  • Dr Melanie Davies, chair of Fertility Preservation UK
  • Sharon Jones, patient who has frozen her eggs
  • Rachel Cutting, director of compliance and information at the HFEA
  • James Lawford Davies, partner at Hill Dickinson

If you are interested in this topic, please consider signing and sharing PET's #ExtendTheLimit petition, calling for an extension to the 10-year storage limit for eggs frozen for non-medical reasons.

This film was made by Video Production Edinburgh.
