Experts predict that the cost of living crisis could fuel a spike in women donating their eggs as report in the Daily Mail.
Women under the age of 35 can earn up to £750 a time in the UK by donating their eggs to infertile women undergoing IVF.
Progress Educational Trust's director Sarah Norcross told the Daily Mail: 'During a cost-of-living crisis, more women may become curious about donating their eggs to help others have a family.'
There is currently a shortage of egg donors, however, experts also warn that women should think carefully before becoming an egg donor as children born using donor eggs are able to contact their donor from the age of 18.
