Postdoctoral Researcher
Dr Desislava Staneva is a postdoctoral researcher working with Professor Kathy Niakan at the University of Cambridge. She is currently investigating how cells specialise in early human embryos. Desi completed her PhD at the University of Edinburgh where she studied gene activation in the parasite causing sleeping sickness in Africa.
