Emma Bunting

Emma Bunting is a volunteer writer at BioNews, having originally joined the publication for the writing scheme. She is a Medical Research Council funded Neuroscience PhD student at University College London's Institute of Neurology, where she works in Professor Sarah Tabrizi's team. Emma obtained her undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Bath, with a year's research experience at Harvard Medical School investigating the ageing brain. Her work now explores the role of DNA repair in Huntington's disease, with a specific focus on the mismatch repair.
