Dr Emma Bunting was a volunteer writer at BioNews, having originally joined the publication for the writing scheme. She completing a Medical Research Council funded Neuroscience PhD at University College London's Institute of Neurology, where she worked in Professor Sarah Tabrizi's team. Emma obtained her undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Bath, with a year's research experience at Harvard Medical School investigating the ageing brain.
