The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) said that not enough evidence had been provided to carry out an investigation into the Chinese non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) provider BGI Group, Reuters reported.
Six months ago politicians wrote a letter to the ICO to investigate privacy concerns that had arisen around the NIFTY tests it developed and supplies (see BioNews 1192).
