Ireland's Joint Committee on International Surrogacy has published a report in which it recommends changes to current laws around children who are born through surrogacy outside Ireland.
Recommendations include pathways to citizenship and legal parenthood for children born in approved jurisdictions such as the UK and New Zealand, where at least one of the intended parents has a genetic link to the child.
