PET is delighted to announce the launch of the Progress Educational Trust podcast, providing a new way for you to catch up with our latest discussions.
As you may know, PET produces regular public events discussing a wide variety of issues in fertility, genetics, genomics and embryo/stem cell research. You can register for our upcoming events here.
We make these events accessible afterwards, for the benefit of those who couldn't attend or who wish to revisit what was said. We do this via written summaries on BioNews (read our latest event summary here) and via films on our YouTube channel (which are also available on BioNews, watch our latest event film here).
Now, our podcast offers a convenient alternative way for you to catch up with our events.
Here's the first episode, documenting our recent discussion of genetics and genomics in the context of assisted conception, and featuring contributions from Dr Jonathan Berg, Dr Nicola Williams, Professor Zosia Miedzybrodzka and Dr Francesca Forzano. (If you can't see the episode embedded below, click/tap here to listen to or download it.)
Listen to "Your Guide to Genetics and Genomics in the Fertility Clinic" on Spreaker.
You can also find us on podcast apps and platforms including Apple, Google, iHeart, Spotify and others. Just search for 'Progress Educational Trust podcast', and subscribe via the platform of your choice. Alternatively, look out for future podcast episodes in BioNews.
We would like to thank Jon Nicoll (who created the opening and closing music for our podcast) and the Scottish Government (which supported the event featured in the first episode).
